We have three March webinars designed to support your residential design practice and CE goals. All registrations are available at AIBD.org/webinars (AIBD member discount codes are available when you’re logged in). Today at 2:00 pm ET, the High‑Performance Homes Team is hosting a roundtable on steel framing in high‑performance home design (1.0 P4 CE). Certified AIBD Professional members Bernie Kern and Erik Scheuermann will share real‑world steel‑framed projects, why they chose steel, what they learned along the way, and how these homes perform from a resilience and high‑performance standpoint. Bring one project where you’re wrestling with cost vs. resilience; we’ll use participant projects to drive the discussion. On Tuesday, March 24 at 2:00 pm ET, join us for “Going from the field (nailing) to the desk (designing)” (1.0 P2 CE) with Dennis Fletcher, hosted by the AIBD Education Committee. We’ll talk about the realities of transitioning from the jobsite to design, why field‑experienced designers are in high demand, practical steps for members considering that move, and how firm owners can identify and integrate field‑experienced talent into their teams. Then on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 pm ET, we’ll host a CE Watch Party: “9 Features in 2026 You Might Not Know About SketchUp” (1.0 P3‑CE). This pre‑recorded playlist of three tutorials walks through SketchUp 2026 features that can speed up your modeling workflow, including improvements to ambient occlusion, material previews, live components, the undo function, and tray management. To register for any (or all) of these sessions and apply your AIBD member discount, please log in and sign up at AIBD.org/webinars. Best regards, P.S. If you have questions about your CE credits or registration, just reply to this email.
