EVENT 2: AIBD Eastern Shore Chapter – December 2025 Meeting

Best Practices for Taking Architectural Photos and Video
Featuring: Roberta D'Andrea – "Architectural Storytelling Through Photography"
Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2025
Time: 3:30–5:00 p.m. EST

Roberta will share practical strategies and creative insights to help you capture your projects more effectively in both still images and video. Expect to learn the following (and more):

  • Weighing exterior versus interior lighting needs
  • Capturing transitions and relationships between various spaces
  • Preparing the client for "photo day"
  • Best camera/tripod heights
  • Incorporating people and pets into your photos
  • How to make your cell phone photos look their best
  • How to avoid noise and graininess in low-light conditions
  • Best practices for working with a professional photographer

That's just a taste of what she'll be sharing. Roberta's presentation will include time at the end for Q&A, so please come ready with questions and examples. We especially encourage you to bring any special or unique examples of impressive architectural photography from your own portfolio to help spark discussion.
