Help AIBD Stand Shoulder-to-Shoulder with NAHB Leadership at IBS

In February, NAHB will install Ohio builder Bill Owens as its 2026 chairman during the International Builders’ Show in Orlando. Owens is slated to serve as chairman of NAHB’s Board of Directors in 2026, making this an especially important moment for AIBD to be visible within the federation’s national leadership.

AIBD has an opportunity to be recognized as an official sponsor at his kickoff celebration, joining key leaders from across the home building federation and reinforcing AIBD’s role as the voice of residential designers in the wider industry. To avoid dipping into unbudgeted dues dollars, the Board is inviting a small group of members and firms to underwrite this one-time sponsorship and attend the reception as AIBD’s guests.

Here’s how it works: contributions will go directly toward a single AIBD sponsorship at the Bill Owens Kickoff Event. In appreciation, contributors at $500 will receive one event ticket, $1,000 will receive two tickets, and higher participation can be arranged in the same spirit for firms that wish to send additional representatives.

Contributors under $500 will not receive an event ticket but will be acknowledged by name in AIBD communications about the sponsorship as part of the group that helped put residential designers at the table. This is not a charitable donation; it is a voluntary business investment in AIBD’s visibility with NAHB leadership, paired with networking access at IBS for those using ticketed levels.

If total contributions exceed the target sponsorship amount, any remaining funds will be reserved by the Board for future NAHB–AIBD relationship-building and advocacy initiatives; if contributions fall short, the Board may either select a lower sponsorship level or hold the contributed funds for the next, similar opportunity, and will report that decision back to contributors and the broader membership.

To participate at any level, please visit AIBD’s Sponsorship Contribution Page at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/aibds-sponsorship-contribution and complete your contribution online (checks are accepted). The Zeffy form allows you to indicate your firm name and the appropriate recognition/contact information there.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support AIBD’s presence alongside NAHB’s new chairman at IBS.
