Industry Partner Spotlight: SBCA

AIBD is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), aimed at expanding technical resources, education, and collaborative opportunities for residential building designers. In addition, several new SBCA-contributed resources have just been added to the AIBD Designer Docs library for member use.

Through this new memorandum of understanding, AIBD and SBCA will work together to advance knowledge, collaboration, and business opportunities in residential design and structural building components. The alliance focuses on cross-promotion, shared resources, and joint initiatives that help members design better, more efficient structures.

For AIBD members, there will be direct access to SBCA technical resources, educational webinars, research, and technical guides on structural building component systems through your member portal. As well as joint webinars and co-branded educational programs on integrated building design and component technology.

Join us in advancing this partnership’s mission to enhance visibility, foster networking, and promote collaboration among designers, architects, and component manufacturers.

New Designer Docs resources

As part of this collaboration, SBCA has contributed new documents, now available in the AIBD Designer Docs library. These additions provide practical guidance on working with structural building components and will continue to grow as the partnership produces more shared content.

These are just the beginning:

Members are encouraged to log in to the Designer Docs library to review the new SBCA resources and begin integrating them into current and future projects.

Watch for upcoming announcements about joint webinars and educational offerings that will further showcase this new partnership.

Have a great weekend!
