Design & Build San Antonio - Virtual and In-Person Tickets are available. So are hotel rooms if you're still thinking about coming.
Attending D&B San Antonio online might be more convenient and less expensive, but nothing affects your career like meeting with other professionals in person. The AIBD room block has closed, but hotel rooms are still available at or around $219/night.

Each year, AIBD considers the nominations of one or more certified Professional Members who have notably contributed to the advancement of building design and inducts them into the College of Fellows.
The 2024 inductees are:

The induction ceremony occurs on July 27 during the ARDA Awards Gala in San Antonio, Texas.

The Conference Committee approved the contract for the Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville to host the AIBD 2025 Summer Design & Build Conference. The board of directors agreed and ratified the agreement at their recent monthly meeting. Featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, and access to a 9-hole golf course, this site is situated amongst a unique mix of outdoor recreation, amazing restaurants/breweries, and a robust art/music scene. Biltmore Estate, America's largest private residence, is a few minutes away. Plus, the Blue Ridge Parkway provides scenic drives, hiking, and epic sunsets.
The 2024-2025 AIBD Board of Directors formally began their terms at the June meeting. Many new board members chose to lead a committee (or two), and now they're seeking your participation. Check out the opportunities and let them know you're interested.
One more thing—we want to lead with transparency. AI was most likely used to complete this post in one way or another. Don't blame the technology if you find a mistake; in most cases, our emails are written by humans and AI-supported. Now and then, they are AI-generated and human-edited. Both humans and AI still make mistakes.
