Since the pandemic, architect Steve Mouson has only been going to the office for meetings. Steve shares about converting a backyard shed into a beautiful design studio.

NAHB members were emailed links last week to register early. For everyone else, expo and educational passes go on sale on September 3. The Las Vegas hotel room blocks are only available to registered people.

Says real people who actually love these "Unpopular" Home Design Trends. Even if interior designers or your favorite HGTV hosts do not universally agree, your clients might still be asking for these features in their homes, regardless of what others might think of them.

Building Codes & Standards Committee

Chairman Jack Butler is hosting a one-hour webinar to discuss the committee's ICC Group B code development cycle proposals. Please attend to provide feedback and let Jack know if you've come across other sections within the code that need clarification, alteration, or removal altogether.

The committee seeks a panel of 10 members representing as many geographical locations as possible—members from coast to coast! The information gathered from this discussion will help guide the direction of the membership committee moving forward to serve our membership better.
