We are heartbroken to learn that the California fires have affected members of the AIBD community.

Fifteen state attorneys general and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) have sued the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to challenge new energy efficiency requirements for building homes and apartments.

The lawsuit argues that the updated standards for certain single-family and multifamily housing programs were implemented unconstitutionally.
