Your Expertise Needed for the American Institute of Building Designer's Certified Professional Building Designer® (CPBD™) Job Analysis survey.
This study aims to identify and validate the tasks performed by a building design professional, as well as the important knowledge and skills required to effectively perform this role using evidence-based and common practices in developing and maintaining certification assessments and programs. The survey results will allow AIBD to ensure their certification reflects current practices among building design professionals.
The survey completion time is estimated at 15 to 20 minutes. Information collected will only be used for research, accreditation (e.g., ISO/IEC 17024:2012), and validation purposes. The survey will close on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 9 pm ET.
You will be entered into a random drawing to win one of five AIBD black hoodies in exchange for your survey participation.
In addition, all survey participants can download an architectural e-book and listen to a 125-minute presentation by the author.
