We have two small projects that could use some volunteers.

Dear Reader,

As you're thinking about starting your weekend, we have some words for you to ponder.

“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.” — Winston Churchill

What a cheesy way to start an email. Right?

What if, when you gave, we could guarantee you would get?

Give a few hours of your time and gain access to hundreds of hours of personal and professional development resources.

You'll learn how to navigate project management software while accessing a vast library of Microsoft, Google, and AI training resources designed to enhance your administrative capabilities.

Our mission goes beyond equipping you with the tools to thrive as an AIBD volunteer—we aim to provide you with the skills and knowledge essential for success as a design professional.

Are you ready to get?

A few weeks ago, we welcomed our newly elected Board of Directors and Certification Council. As they prepare to launch into the new Fiscal Year, they could use support with several small projects.

Here are the first two.

NCBDC Outreach Committee:

The committee, led by Councilman Angel Silva from Houston, TX, is seeking individuals with expertise in marketing to help develop resources that support CPBDs in promoting their designation effectively.

NCBDC Recertification Committee:

Under the guidance of Councilman Bruce Yancey from Norman, OK, the number of suspended CPBDs has dipped below 100 for the first time since February, but the council wants to cut that in half over the next 90 days. Join the team on a 90-day mission to cut that number in half by 2026.

Visit AIBD.org/volunteer to sign up.

The A-Team and the NCBDC President will reach out to you next week to set up your first virtual huddle.

Have a great weekend,

The A-Team

P.S. - Are these projects not the right fit or timing? No problem. Stay tuned. As new committees settle in and begin their work, we’ll be launching more opportunities soon. Stay tuned!

One more thing—we want to lead with transparency. AI was most likely used to complete this post in one way or another. Don't blame the technology if you find a mistake; in most cases, our emails are written by humans and AI-supported. Now and then, they are AI-generated and human-edited. Both humans and AI still make mistakes.
