ARDA 2026 is still open – meet judge Nayarit (Naya) Tineo

ARDA 2026 is still accepting submissions, and today we want to introduce another member of this year's distinguished judging panel.

As we continue building the call for entries, we're excited to introduce Nayarit (Naya) Tineo, an architectural designer with a Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo. Naya brings a well-rounded perspective to the judging panel, with hands-on experience spanning residential, civic, and community-focused design.

Her professional background includes construction documentation, multidisciplinary project coordination, and climate action planning through NYSERDA-supported initiatives. With a strong interest in construction management and project execution, Naya brings both design sensitivity and practical insight into how projects actually get built — making her uniquely positioned to evaluate the technical and creative rigor behind each submission.

Naya is passionate about advancing thoughtful, community-driven design and contributing to the built environment through both practice and professional service. We're proud to have her on the ARDA 2026 judging panel and look forward to seeing the work our members bring to the table.

If you or your firm are doing outstanding work in residential design, this is your opportunity to gain recognition, connect with peers, and showcase your projects on a global stage. Submissions are open now through June 8, 2026.

Submit your project and learn more about ARDA 2026 here: ResidentialDesignAwards.com.

Can't wait to see your submissions,
The AIBD ARDA Committee
