College is expensive.
The average cost of tuition and fees for the 2021-2022 school year was $43,775 at private colleges, $28,238 for out-of-state students at public schools and $11,631 for state residents at public colleges.
And no one wants student loans if they can avoid it.
That's why the AIBD College of Fellows provides the children and relatives of AIBD Professional Members an opportunity each year to receive a $1000 scholarship.
As do AIBD Student Members.
Here's how:
First, we have the College of Fellows Memorial Scholarship.
That's a $1000 scholarship, awarded every year (around July or August).
Second, we have the Bill and Annette Farmer Memorial Scholarship.
That means, an AIBD Student Member who is a relative of an AIBD Professional Member has two chances of receiving a scholarship.
And they're not limited to receiving only once.
They can enter every year as long as they meet the requirements.
Here's what to do if you are an AIBD Professional Member:
Here's what to do if you are a relative and/or an AIBD Student Member:
This is just one of many many benefits to being an AIBD Member.
One more thing:
The deadline for applications is always June 30th.
At the time of sending this email, that's less than a week away.

Scholarship recipients are announced at the American Residential Design Awards gala dinner, which is hosted at the Design & Build Summer Conference's conclusion in July or August.
