What We're Up to

We're asking the industry to fight the California bill AB-1796

AIBD Legislative Committee chairman Jack Butler has been alerted to the California bill AB-1976, Licensed Commercial Interior Designer Practice Act.

In his opinion, it's an unnecessary regulation of a field that has no public safety issues to justify additional state oversight. We view this as the first domino that could lead to other needless regulations of the building design process.

Have a triumphant week.
